The much-anticipated 13th Suzhou Jinji Lake Half Marathon kicked off on the bank of Jinji Lake in SIP on Mar 10. A total of 30,000 people participated in the half marathon and the “runs for health and fun”.

Held in SIP annually, Suzhou Jinji Lake Half Marathon has a large cohort of fans from home and abroad.

“This is my first time in the Suzhou Jinji Lake Half Marathon. I’m very excited to take the challenge,” said Wang Xiaodong, a co-founder of BeiGene, a NASDAQ-listed biotech company.

Norman Roth, an executive from Bosch, has participated in the Suzhou Jinji Lake Half Marathon for many times, and this year, he was also an endorser for the event.

Koh Choon Teck, a Singaporean who works at Mountain Kingston Bilingual School Suzhou said SIP made him feel like home, and spoke highly of the event.

The winners of the event finally emerged. Although only a few people won the medals, all the participants were happy, since they overcame the challenge and enjoyed a wonderful tour of SIP at the same time.
