The 2025 SIP Golden Autumn ? Three Lakes Carnival kicked off on Sept 13, starting a three-month feast of commercial, cultural and travel experiences around Jinji, Yangcheng and Dushu lakes in SIP.

Jinji Lake is highlighting its romance with the theme “One Life, One Lifetime”. The 13.14-kilometer lakeside fitness trail offers a perfect route for couples to stroll hand in hand, while the Sino-French Wall of Love in Ligongdi Cultural and Creative Block (a replica of the famous Le mur des je t’aime in France) provides a symbolic spot for marriage registration. Newlyweds can also enjoy complimentary rides on the “Suzhou Eye” Ferris wheel and boat trips to the beautiful Taohua Island.

Many businesses in the lake area provide discounts and host various activities during the event. There are also diverse art experiences including exhibitions, concerts and night markets.

The Yangcheng Lake area features a variety of activities allowing the participants to sample delicious Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs, participate in or watch wonderful sports activities such as lakeside cycling and football and tennis games and enjoy culture-rich tours.

The area around Dushu Lake also offers a diversity of artistic and cultural experiences, such as concerts on the lake shore, university students’ paddleboarding races, and a series of events marking the friendship between China and France.

Specially designed travel routes are recommended to the public, and free sightseeing bus service will be available during the upcoming National Day holiday.

Concurrently, travel cards tailored for the carnival allow the holders to enjoy favorable prices and other privileges at many restaurants, hotels, tourist destinations and shopping spots.
