Chongyun Lane, a revitalized business street, officially opened in the Yangchenghu Peninsula Tourist Resort in SIP on Nov 15, becoming a new pet-friendly landmark in the resort.

The project, covering a land area of 42.5 mu (2.83 hectares), was built by renovating the old buildings at Chongyuansi Business District near Chongyuan Temple. With a total investment of about RMB100 million, it integrates B&Bs with popular sports and pet facilities to give tourists a new experience.

The two-day “Farmers’ Market” kicked off concurrently, featuring diverse stalls offering local farm produce, handmade food, fresh pet food and creative goods, alongside interactive games for visitors.

It is noteworthy that a fun competition of penalty shootout between pets and owners was held at the same time. The winning dog was named the lane’s first official pet ambassador, receiving prizes valued over RMB10,000.
