An event was held at NUS (Suzhou) Research Institute (NUSRI) in SIP on July 29 for the purpose of facilitating cooperation between the institute and companies in advancing technologies that can help improve water environment.

The event attracted about 20 companies engaged in related fields, including Sino-Singapore SUEZ Environmental Protection Technology (Suzhou) Company Limited and SIP Qingyuan Huayan Water Service Co Ltd.

During the events, the participants were given a specific introduction to NUSRI’s nanotechnology innovation platform for energy and environment, research projects and expectations for potential partners.

Suzhou Nanfeng Youlian Environmental Protection Engineering Co Ltd shared with the participants the achievements it had made in collaboration with NUSRI.

Through the displays on site, the participants gained a better knowledge of NUSRI’s cutting-edge technologies for membrane innovation, treatment of refractory industrial wastewater and new pollutants in water bodies, and high-value utilization of waste biomass. Many showed intention to cooperate with the institute in commercializing the technologies and discussed details with the research teams.
