The team of “technology matchmakers” in SIP is expanding, and their role in promoting cooperation between research organizations and enterprises is strengthening.

Recently, the third training session organized by the National University Biotechnology Regional Transfer and Transformation Center (Suzhou, Jiangsu) for technology brokers concluded, marking that a team of over 100 certified junior, intermediate and senior technology brokers has taken shape.

Through the training, the technology brokers have gained systematic knowledge of challenges in transfer and transformation of biomedical technologies, and learned approaches and experience for driving commercialization of research outcomes.

Over the past one year, the technology brokers have collected more than 1,800 biomedicine research achievements from 40-plus higher education institutions at home and abroad and promoted school-enterprise cooperation in about 100 projects.
