Zhihui Technology (Suzhou) Co Ltd unveiled its (Automated Guided Vehicle) parking system in Zhongchuanglian Sci-Tech Industrial Park in SIP on Apr 15. The parking system, the first of its kind in Suzhou, is designed to optimize vehicle parking efficiency and maximize space utilization.

As demonstrated by the company, a driver can simply pull into the transfer zone of the robotic garage, stop his or her car, get off, and input the license plate or phone number through the touchscreen outside the zone. Sensing a car, the system will automatically open the door, and the mobile vehicle-carrying robot will transport and park the car in the designated parking space.

Qiu Zhichun, founder of the company, said that extremely simplified hardware allows cost of deploying such system in commercial districts and aging residential communities to be slashed by 25% compared to conventional solutions, while reinforcement learning-based 3D parking space algorithm can improve spatial efficiency by 55% and the proprietary cloud dispatch control system can boost parking space management efficiency by 30%.
